Baldwinville Resident Struck, Killed While Riding E-Scooter in Gardner

GARDNER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities have identified the person who was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding an electronic scooter in Gardner Thursday evening.

The Worcester County District Attorney's Office said the victim was Bradley Arsenault, 38, of Baldwinville.

Gardner police said officers responded to a report of a fatal crash involving the e-scooter near 591 West Broadway shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the scooter remained at the scene, the Worcester County DA's Office said.

Massachusetts State Police Detectives, the Gardner Police Department, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS), and the Crime Scene Services Section (CSSS) are investigating.

There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
