BELMONT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Belmont are warning residents of a pattern of home break-ins.

According to police, three homes were broken into early Monday morning on Adams Street, Madison Street, and Watson Road, with four laptops and other valuable items stolen.

Police said the burglar cuts through screens to get into the homes, either through a window or entrance door, and travels through backyards to get between houses.

Belmont Police shared a video of the suspected thief walking up to a house in a hat and mask.
