BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Ben Affleck appeared in a new Dunkin advertisement during the Super Bowl.
It was a sequel to Dunkin’s Super Bowl ad from last year, in which Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Tom Brady formed a boy band called the "DunKings" to impress Affleck’s then-wife Jennifer Lopez.
In this year’s commercial, Damon and Brady didn’t return, but in their place was Ben’s brother Casey and Bill Belichick.
The ad poked fun at not getting Damon or Brady back into the group, with Ben saying they were “a new squad, DunKings 2!”
Actor Jeremy Strong also appeared as part of the group, soaking in a vat of coffee as part of a method acting routine.

The ad also took jabs at a made up green clad coffee company (seemingly resembling a real life rival of Dunkin), making fun of their unnecessarily complicated drinks.
Other celebrity appearances included Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes reprising their roles of Jay and Silent Bob, comedian and actor Druski portraying another coffee competitor, and Belichick’s girlfriend Jordan Hudson appearing as herself.
A nearly 7 minute video titled DunKings 2: The Movie was also put up on Dunkin’s YouTube channel, acting as a full version of the commercial.
It gave Jeremy Strong more screen time, created more parodies of competing restaurants, and added a cameo from Donnie Walberg at the end.
