This week, WBZ NewsRadio received two special congratulations from President Joe Biden and Governor Charlie Baker.

In a letter signed and stamped by President Biden, he congratulated WBZ NewsRadio on the anniversary and spoke on the importance of radio news and journalism as a whole.

"The freedom of the press has always been vital to the function of our democracy, and stations like WBZ NewsRadio have pioneered a path forward for other news networks to expand their reach to listeners across our Nation," Biden wrote.

Governor Baker sent a Governor's Citation signed by himself and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito.
