BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Here's a happy update—Blue, the Billerica police dog who retired after being diagnosed with cancer, finally has a new home.
Two weeks ago, we brought you the story of the two-and-a-half-year-old bloodhound whose law enforcement career was sidelined when his leg was amputated to keep his cancer from spreading.
Now, he's been adopted by a family that has another bloodhound named Gertrude.
In the photos above, it looks like Blue is "blue" no more!
