Body Of Missing Woburn Woman Found In Saugus

SAUGUS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The body of a missing Woburn woman has been found in Saugus.

40-year-old Sherell Pringle was reported missing on Sunday by her son after she did not come home on Saturday night. Her family said she was supposed to spend that night with her boyfriend and when they tried to get a hold of her, they were unsuccessful.

On Tuesday afternoon, Pringle's body was found in a marsh on the northbound side of Route 107 in Saugus, according to the Essex District Attorney's Office. Authorities now believe that foul play was involved in her death.

No arrests have been made in connection to Pringle's death but earlier in the day, WBZ-TV reported that Woburn and Lynn police said they were looking to talk to Pringle's boyfriend about her disappearance. This was being done before her body was found.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be available once it is released.
