BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of hoax bomb threats made to synagogues and Jewish cultural centers in Massachusetts over the weekend.
The FBI has issued alerts about the potential for violence at faith-based events and holiday gatherings.
Awareness levels have been rising ever since the Israel-Hamas war broke out in October.
State Police say hundreds of threats in the U.S. were reported to be received by Jewish facilities over the weekend.
