BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Prior to the puck drop between the B's and the Florida Panthers for their first series of the National Hockey League playoffs, a certain sickness appeared to be passing through the locker room.

Captain Patrice Bergeron is among those that remain questionable to start in Game 1, and the Providence Bruins are sending goaltender Brandon Bussi over to Boston "for the purposes of emergency," the team said.

In a press conference on Monday, Boston Bruins Head Coach Jim Montgomery expressed little worries.

"We're blessed in our locker room, [General Manager] Don Sweeney has done an incredible job of building the depth of our lineup throughout the year and we are going to put a really good lineup out on the ice, no matter who's out there," Montgomery said.

The Bruins set the NHL record for the most wins during a regular season this year and then some— heading into the playoffs with 65 wins.
