BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — After the Foo Fighters canceled all their tour dates following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Boston Calling announced on Wednesday that the rock band Nine Inch Nails will perform in their stead.
Officials said that Nine Inch Nails will take the stage for this year's festival on Friday, May 27.
The remaining days of Boston Calling will be headlined by the Strokes on Saturday, and Metallica on Sunday, alongside the lineup of over fifty performers playing throughout the festival. Officials said that 2022's lineup has the largest collection of regional talent to ever take the stage at Boston Calling, along with internationally recognized music stars.

Boston Calling said that Tier 1 3-Day and Single Day General Admission tickets, VIP tickets, and Platinum tickets are now on sale at www.bostoncalling.com.
Officials said that new this year for fans are 2-day GA tickets which are also available in 2-Packs. Also available are 2-packs of 3-Day GA tickets. Availability of tickets at Tier 1 pricing are limited and Tier 2 pricing will go into effect after Tier 1 tickets sell out, festival officials said.
