BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Calling 2023 kicks off Friday to welcome back the Foo Fighters, continue to fashion cashless payment options, all after some last minute turbulence to the lineup.
On Thursday, a day before its scheduled performance, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's dropped out after its front woman Karen O reported coming down with a "gnarly bug."
Shortly after, Boston Calling announced that the Dropkick Murphy's would be taking its place. Days earlier the festival announced Leon would not be playing, and the Razor Braids would be stepping in.
