BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston College will require all students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before arriving to campus for the fall semester.
University President William P. Leahy said in a statement that, "exceptions will be granted for legitimate religious and medical reasons."
Leahy also stated that next week, they will begin administering 4,500 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

"Opportunity for vaccination will be offered first to all currently enrolled undergraduates, given that almost all live on or adjacent to campus," Leahy stated. "Additional vaccines for campus distribution may become available for graduate and professional students, staff, and faculty in the near future."
Boston College has joined the growing list of schools requiring the coronavirus vaccine.
