Boston Dynamics' Robots Cheered At A Japanese Baseball Game

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As sporting events resume without fans in the stands due to coronavirus, the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks had a unique set of cheerleaders.

Dancing robots from the company Boston Dynamics replaced fans and danced to the Hawks' fight song. They had fan gear as well, including some hats and team flags.

They won't be around for long, since starting Friday, up to five thousand fans will be able to attend sporting events.

For those looking for more robot content, Boston Dynamics' website provides videos on the many robots they create and sell.
