Boston Hosts March Madness For The First Time In Six Years

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston gets a taste of March Madness.

TD Garden will host the East Regional Finals of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship on March 28th and March 30th.

Teams that make it to the Sweet Sixteen, then the Elite Eight, will play these games.

As of Feb. 15., the cheapest balcony ticket for one game costs $245 on Ticketmaster.com.

Seats closer to the court sell for as much as $2,879.

2018 was the last year in which TD Garden hosted a round of the tournament. Boston watched as Villanova University finished off Texas Tech University before going on to claim the national crown.
