Boston Man Learns Of Biden Win From WBZ NewsRadio Reporter

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The news about President-elect Joe Biden may have spread fast, but it didn't find its way to Phillip from Boston, who heard it first from WBZ NewsRadio's reporter Matt Shearer outside a Framingham department store.

"So he won?!" Phillip asked. "Get out of here! Oh, I feel like jumping on stuff, you know? That's nice, man!"

Across the parking lot, a very different, more somber mood from Kimberly, who just moved to Massachusetts from Florida, a swing state that went to Trump in 2016 and 2020.

"I'm very sad today," she said. "I'm sickened, actually."

Kimberly said she is worried about what role, if any, voter fraud might have played in the results. Still, she said she is trying to remain optimistic.

"I just hope we can all come together, and hopefully Biden can do a good job," she said. "It's the best we could do. I'm just rooting for our country."
