BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has been campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in New Hampshire ahead of the upcoming presidential election.
She’s back in Boston, but said she has teams out in New Hampshire and potentially other swing states.
“There are different plans in place for Pennsylvania [and] I know a group from Boston is really focusing on Wisconsin. There are people everywhere,” Wu said. “I’m trying to balance all of this with what I can manage in terms of keeping things going here at home.”
Wu said she may make a last-minute trip to Pennsylvania depending on how she feels. The mayor is pregnant with her third child, due in January.
Wu joins many other politicians across the country who are campaigning for Harris or former President Donald Trump, but Wu said she’s not looking for any job offers down in Washington.
“I am very thrilled to be here and would not have any interest in leaving,” Wu said.
