Boston Police Investigating Deadly Shooting On Shawmut Ave.

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating a shooting on Shawmut Ave. that has left a man dead.

Boston Police responded to Shawmut Ave. near Ramsay Park around 1:30 a.m. on Friday morning after getting a report of a shooting.

They found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man's name has not been released.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting.

There were multiple other shootings overnight on Thursday, leaving several people injured.

WBZ-TV reported that three people were shot in Jamaica Plain, and one person was shot in a different incident at a gas station on Blue Hill Ave.
