Boston Police Recover A $13,000 Flute That Went Missing Almost A Decade Ago

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Monday, a valuable flute was returned to its rightful owner after if was reported missing in 2012.

The $13,000 flute went missing after the owner left it in a cab.

Detectives from District A-1 (Downtown, Beacon Hill, Chinatown, North End) spoke to an individual earlier this month who entered a music instrument store to try to determine the value of this flute.

The individual was identified as a taxi cab driver who was driving the day the flute was reported missing.

Police reported they will be seeking a charge of receiving stolen property against the driver.
