Boston Police Search For Suspect In Connection To Roxbury Robbery

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in connection to a robbery that happened on Wednesday in Roxbury.

Officials say the incident occurred in the area of 2235 Washington Street, something that detectives are reviewing the facts and circumstances of while asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect depicted in posted photos.

According to police, the suspect is around 30 to 40-years-old, is a light skinned male, stands at about six feet and one inch, with a low curly afro wearing a black sweater, black bottoms, black boots, and a red and black glove on his right hand.

BPD asks that any community members wishing to assist the investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line or by texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
