BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Friday, the Boston Police Department asked for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault that happened in May.
Police say the incident happened on May 24, in the area of 35 Englewood Street in Roxbury where a man displayed what seemed to be the handle of a firearm tucked in the waistband of his pants. The BPD says the suspect came from the area of Warren Street and was last seen walking up Blue Hill Avenue toward Quincy Street.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned black male in his late teens to early twenties, standing at about 5 feet and 8 inches and weighing 190 to 200 pounds. At the time of the incident police say he was wearing a navy or black jacket, light blue jeans, and was seen carrying a bright colored backpack.
