BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It may be time to raise another banner in Boston.

The Boston Pride will look to secure their third Isobel cup Monday night when they take on the Connecticut Whale in the final of the Premier Hockey Federation. Boston won the inaugural Isobel Cup Championship in 2016 and won a league-high second title in 2021. The Pride also lost in the final in 2017 and was set to play in the 2020 final before the pandemic cause the game to be canceled.

The Pride finished 3rd in the PWF this season with a 10-5-5 record and have cruised through the Isobel Cup playoffs so far after beating the Buffalo Beauts 6-0 in the quarterfinals and the Toronto Six 5-1 in the semifinals. They now get to face the league's No. 1 seed and local New England rivals the Connecticut Whale, who the Pride are 1-3 against this season.
