BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — With St. Patrick’s Day on Monday, revelers are already hitting the streets of Boston to get an early start on the holiday weekend.
From pubs to restaurants, businesses are stocked and ready for a higher volume of customers.
Some establishments, like The Black Rose, have opened their doors early, allowing people to get the party started as soon as possible.
“Getting an early start clearly, because it’s like, 10 a.m. and we’re already ready to, you know, fiesta around town,” said Amanda, visiting from Weymouth.
“[We’re going to] Black Rose, Dubliner, wander about, see where things take us.”
Crews could be seen unloading kegs from delivery trucks Friday morning, ensuring there’s no shortage of drinks.
“We just put 55 in there in an hour, Guinness and all the Smithwick’s, all those Irish types of beers,” said Mark, a delivery driver.
“Yeah, this is definitely a heavier week for a lot of these places.”
The 2025 Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place Sunday, March 16, and begin at 11:30 a.m.
