Boston Ranked 2nd Happiest City In The U.S. According To New Report

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new report from the Quality of Life Index indicates that Boston ranks #2 in its list of happiest cities in the U.S.

Boston was ranked #38 in an international ranking of 250 cities around the globe.

WBZ NewsRadio spoke to Dorchester residents about their reactions to this report.

“[In Boston], I’ve seen some of the kindest interaction[s] between humans,” said one resident.  

“The happiest place? I don’t know, it kind of just threw me for a loop,” said another resident.  

WBZ NewsRadio also spoke to Trinelle, who said that his Upham’s Corner neighborhood is indeed a happy one.  

“You do get a lot of different generations here.” “These different spaces, filled with different ethnicities and different family types [too].”
