Red Sox Ban Fortnite Video Game In Clubhouse

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Red Sox swept Oakland, and the defending champs are now just five-and-a-half games out of first.

Bats are clicking, starting pitching and the bullpen are performing, but there's another common denominator.

The Sox recently banned the popular video game Fortnite from the clubhouse. 

Yes, the same game people scapegoated for David Price's carpal tunnel syndrome last year.

The team decided players were spending too much time gaming in the clubhouse, and it reached a point of being counterproductive to their on-field performance. 

So, cards and crossword puzzles at the park, it is.
