BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — At the restaurant Atlantico in Boston's South End, they're trying to boost their business on slow days by offering wedding packages.
For $10,000, the bride, groom, and guests get the run of the restaurant for a four-hour period Sundays through Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Chef Michael Serpa said it's a less stressful way to plan a wedding, and costs less than most. "It's a great deal for a wedding," he said. "The 10K includes up to 75 guests, a family-style menu, floor space for a band, and beverage packages. This is way cheaper than most wedding events."
Restaurants offering wedding packages are a growing trend.
