BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston sports fans are staying positive for their teams, despite some losses here and there.
The Red Sox just lost a playoff series against the Yankees for the first time since 2003, but that’s not stopping some sports fans from keeping their heads up.
“I think the Patriots are going in the right direction, I think the Bruins might be better than people expect, and I think the same goes for the Celtics,” one fan said.
Regarding the Red Sox, fans are taking the loss very well, with many just being happy that October baseball was back.
“I don’t think losing to the Yankees is that bad because I think next year they’re going to come back just as good, if not better,” a Red Sox fan said.
“Even though they lost, it was still a lot of fun,” another Red Sox fan said.

To many Patriots fanatics, Drake Maye has been proving himself as a worthwhile leader in New England.
“I saw a stat today that in the last 25 years, there’s only one quarterback who has had a top 25 performance for the patriots, and that’s Tom Brady, until yesterday Drake Maye got his name on the list, so I think that’s a good thing,” a Patriots fan said.
On the basketball side of things, Jayson Tatum appears to be making a fast recovery from his Achilles tear, although some are more reserved in their excitement than others.
“I’m trying not to count my chickens before they hatch with Tatum,” a Celtics fan said.
And with the excitement in the air for the Bruins’ matinee match at TD Garden, the energy is high for Boston sports from every angle.
