BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — With warm weather in the forecast this weekend, some locals are leaping into spring a few weeks early.

Friday's forecast includes a high of 46 degrees. Saturday's and Sunday's highs are expected to be 57 degrees and 49 degrees, respectively.

One local told WBZ NewsRadio's James Rojas he planned to shed his winter sweatshirts and reach for a "couple of cold ones" to celebrate the early taste of spring.

"Just enjoy it," another local said. "Because it's going to be short-lived."

Meteorologists agree. Snow could be on the horizon for Tuesday morning and the temperatures will stabilize back in the low thirties by Feb. 17.
