BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Despite the surge in COVID-19 cases seen in the United States, Massachusetts has continued to improve.
This has been credited to the state's low infection rate and slow restart of the economy, as other states break single-day infection records on a daily basis.
Bob Lawler is the general manager at Boston Duck Tours, the company that runs the "duck boat tours" in the city.
Lawler is concerned about COVID-19 and tourism.
We're fearful of the tourism industry. I think it's important to do the right thing, I think it's important to protect yourself and your family and do what's right. And the quicker we can do that and the more we can do that as a group, the more the economy will recover and we can get back to doing the things that we used to do prior to COVID.
Lawler hopes he'll have enough business to last through November.
