BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Worcester and Springfield joined Boston this year in the latest Allstate report ranking the riskiest driving cities in the U.S.

Allstate’s 2025 America’s Best Drivers Report analyzed claims from the 200 most populous cities between 2022 and 2023.

The report showed that the average Boston driver crashes once every three years, a significant rise from the national average of once every 10.5 years.

Boston ranked number one for the most collision-prone city in America, with Worcester and Springfield placed in the fourth and fifth spots.

Zones with the safest drivers included Brownsville, Texas, Boise, Idaho, and Fort Collins, Colo.
