BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As love is in the air on Valentine’s Day, there are many ways to make it a memorable occasion in the Boston area.

WBZ NewsRadio asked residents what’s the most romantic place in Boston, and there was no shortage of ideas and suggestions.

  • The North End

Multiple people said they were headed to the North End for an Italian meal. Brad from Boston said “any restaurant” in the neighborhood is a good choice.

  • Seaport District

Others suggested the Seaport District for the food and overall feel, and the Ocean Prime restaurant was specifically mentioned as “one of the best places to go for Valentine’s Day dinner,” according to one resident.

  • Boston Harbor

Resident Manny suggested visiting the harbor or getting in a view of the Charles River because he thinks “it’s just nice, period.”

  • Charlestown

Olivia suggested visiting Charlestown, as she said it’s “cute” over there.

  • Arnold Arboretum/Franklin Park Zoo

Sergio was thinking outside the box and suggested either the Arboretum or the light show at Franklin Park Zoo.
