BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston's iconic Beacon Hill is home to the State House, iconic cobbled alleys, and now, one of the "most beautiful streets" in the world. Architectural Digest said in a new listing that ranks Beacon Hill's storied Acorn Street as one of the prettiest streets on the planet.
The magazine praised Beacon Hill for its American Federal-style rowhouses and picturesque steep and narrow streets. The neighborhood was first constructed in 1795.
Acorn Street is technically a private way, and the location is so-often photographed that residents there have put up signs to warn potential photographers off.
