Boston's Boch Center Will Now Require Proof Of Vaccination For Entry

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – The Boch Center announced that it will require anyone who enters its theaters to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of attending a show.

The center will ask guests to show their vaccination card, or test results, and a government issued ID prior to entering a show at either the Wang or Shubert Theatre.

The president and CEO of the Boch Center, Joe Spaulding, in a statement said he wants to ensure that everyone entering the venue is healthy.

“Together we can help stop the spread of COVID and make sure our performing arts institutions remain open and thriving during this pandemic,” Spaulding said.

The Boch Center recently introduced a similar measure requiring all administrative staff, ushers, security personnel, stagehands and vendors to be fully vaccinated.

Currently, only unvaccinated guests are required to wear masks inside the theatres. The new policy will go into effect on September 14.
