BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — With droves of people heading home from the holidays, Boston Logan International Airport saw a plethora of flight cancelations, most of which from Southwest Airlines.

For delays, JetBlue had the most on Tuesday followed by American Airlines. WBZ's James Rojas spoke to some dismayed post-holiday travelers that were just looking to find their way.

"I'm stuck until Saturday; I don't even know what day it is. At 5 o'clock on December 31 I'll be leaving— allegedly," said one Southwest passenger named Doris. She went on to say she's upset that she had to find out that her flight home to St. Louis was canceled only after coming to Logan. Doris says her flight status online read that the plane was still on time. Southwest says bad weather and staffing shortages are the root causes of the flight disruptions.

"We're going to Costa Rica; they say they can't get us there until New Year's Eve. We're trying every single option right now to find a new flight because hotels are nonrefundable," said another traveler on Spirit.
