BOURNE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Eight people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash on Sandwich Road Monday afternoon.
The crash happened near Gallo Arena around noon and involved five vehicles, Massachusetts State Police said.
They said one adult in the crash has potentially serious injuries, but the others, including several juveniles, had mostly minor injuries.
Sandwich Road was shut down in both directions as crews cleared the crash, but was reopened about an hour and a half later.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
