Boyfriend Of Dead Woman From Woburn Appears In Lynn District Court

LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – The boyfriend of a woman found dead in Saugus earlier this week appeared in Lynn District Court on Thursday.

According to the Essex County District Attorney’s office, 44-year-old Bruce Maiben of Lynn was charged with larceny over $1,200, tampering with evidence and obstruction following the investigation into the death of 40-year-old Sherell Pringle of Woburn.

Investigators are still trying to link Maiben to the incident and he will appear back in court next Tuesday. He is currently being held without bail. Massachusetts State Police arrested Maiben on Wednesday.

The cause of Pringle’s death remains under investigation since her body was found in a marsh alongside Route 107 in Saugus on Tuesday. Pringle’s family reported her disappearance over the weekend after she did not come home Saturday night. The family said she was supposed to spend that night with Maiben.
