BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Police Department is asking for the public's help in investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Dorchester Saturday night.
According to BPD, officers responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 16 Hubbardston Road in Dorchester at around 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.
The Boston Police Department asked for anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
BPD said community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
"The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to assist this investigation in an anonymous manner," said BPD.
