BREWSTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A bicyclist from Brewster is fighting for his life at a Boston hospital after being hit by a driver who did not stop.
Brewster Police Chief Heath Eldridge said the cyclist was struck on Millstone Road around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Connor Long,32, suffered head trauma described as severe, and is in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
Eldridge said police are searching for the driver of a light-colored sedan, possibly with a roof rack, that was seen speeding off from the area.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Brewster Police.
