BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Bruins Foundation says their 50/50 raffle is to help support the family of fallen Worcester Fire Lt. Jason Menard.
Lt. Menard died earlier this week after rescuing two other firefighters from a burning building. They had gone into the building following reports of trapped residents, including a baby.
Menard leaves behind a wife and three children.
The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts is also accepting donations, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Menard's family.
