CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Cambridge Police say they received a report of a sexual assault on a 47-year-old Somerville women that was walking near the Porter Exchange Shopping Center Wednesday morning.
According to police, the woman was walking down Roseland Street towards Massachusetts Avenue when she felt someone quickly approach her and she attempted to step out of the way. Police say it was then that the suspect allegedly reached up her skirt and aggressively felt her buttocks. Police posted surveillance footage that captured the assault on video.
Though the woman was not able to get a description of the suspect, surveillance video shared by police shows him running in a nearby parking lot.
Officials say they are investigating this incident, and are asking that anyone with related information contact police.
