CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Tuesday morning, drivers, walkers and people treating the roads in Cambridge, Mass., mostly agreed that the snow storm did not make the roads as bad as last week’s snowfall.

“It’s not too bad. Just got to keep up with it a little bit, a little bit of salt here and there,” one person who helps to treat the roads told WBZ NewsRadio’s James Rojas.

Ed, who drives snowplows, said, “It’s not as bad as last week’s storm. It’s a little more manageable. I like it, I’ll take it.”

Kevin, who was out driving Tuesday morning, agreed that the condition of the roads was manageable. “They’re not bad. They’re alright. I mean, as long as you drive slow and kind of just stay in the lanes that everybody’s traveling, you’ll be alright."

Other people told Rojas that it was easier to get cars out of parking lots Tuesday morning compared to last week.

Although many people agreed that the roads were easier to navigate on Tuesday morning, side streets and sidewalks may be slicker than the main roadways.

But for someone who was walking in Cambridge this morning, they said it was not as bad as last week in terms of slippage issues. “It’s pleasant, not too cold, bearable. I haven’t slipped,” they told Rojas.
