Cambridge Woman To Compete In Jeopardy's 'Tournament Of Champions'

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A woman who is originally from Rye, New Hampshire but moved to Cambridge, has found her place on the bracket for the Jeopardy! "Tournament of Champions," set to begin airing on Monday.

Four-time Jeopardy! champion Maureen O'Neill is an Executive Assistant who made her debut on the game show during Season 38, during which she became a qualifier for the ToC. According to her biography section on the Jeopardy! website, O'Neill is "a proud twin and has been an avid trivia player for the last 20 years."

For her first round of the tournament O'Neill faces off against challenging opponents Megan Wachpress and Ryan Long, a competitor who's ranked number nine in consecutive games won, after he triumphed in 16 games on the "Leaderboard of Legends."

O'Neill has an average score of $11,120 with an 83.3 average correct response percentage. Her average "Final Jeopardy!" answers are 75 percent correct.
