CANTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The little league team from Canton is one win away from making it to the Little League World Series.
The Canton Bulldogs will play for a trip to Williamsport on Thursday night, after beating Salem, New Hampshire on Wednesday afternoon.
Canton came back from Monday's 7-1 loss to Maine with a 5-0 victory over New Hampshire in Bristol, Connecticut. At the Ponkapoag Civic Association in Canton, dozens of kids gathered to watch the game jumping for joy when the final out was recorded.
The Bulldogs improved to 16-1 overall with Wednesday's win.
And now, it's on to play Maine on Thursday.
