BEVERLY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Vintage vehicles lined up around Misslewood Estate set the scene for the Misslewood Concours d'Elegance near the Atlantic.

Since its 2010 debut, proceeds from the event have supported Endicott's Inspire Scholarship, enabling first-generation college students the opportunity to access a higher education.

Motor enthusiasts enjoyed displays of classic automobiles, including the Celebration of Jaguar and the cars of Harley Earl. Attendees received an intimate showing of a mix of historic, rare, and innovative vehicles and motorcycles. The oceanfront view provides the perfect setting to raise funds to support Endicott's liberal arts curriculum.

"We have a school of visual and performing arts in the design, both in the interior and the exterior of cars in their original nature, but also restoring them … I think it is truly an art form," said acting president Dr. Bryan Cain.

The three-day extravaganza features events like a special exhibition entitled Driven: The Art and Culture of Classic Cars, the Misslewood Concours d'Elegance, Cars & Coffee, and the Inspire Scholarship Dinner. The event has raised more than $300,000 to date.
