Carlisle Police Respond To Serious Car Crash Involving A Small Child

CARLISLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) —  The Carlisle Police Department responded to several 911 calls on Monday night detailing a two-car crash with injuries.  

Police said that after arriving at the accident scene, they found a 6-year-old boy who was seriously injured after being ejected from his mother’s car during the crash.  

Witnesses told Carlisle Police that they saw one vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed at the intersection of North Road and Rutland Streets, then heard the crash moments later.

Officers and firefighters treated all occupants on scene, and police say that the 6-year-old boy was transported via MedFlight to Children’s Hospital in Boston. The boy is reported to be in critical condition.
