QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The New England Free Jacks won their second consecutive Major League Rugby Championship and honored in a special celebration.
The Free Jacks won against the Seattle Seawolves 20 -11 on Sunday, Aug. 4 in San Diego, and a celebration rally in Quincy commemorates this victory.
This event is free at Kilroy Square from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. with local breweries and restaurants serving up delicious delights.
The team will also have an appearance at Logan Airport on Aug.15, and began their official "Shield Tour" on Aug. 25, where they will bring the trophy to youth rugby teams across New England.
