BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It was a tough night Tuesday for the Celtics and Bruins.

The Celtics were mashed in Milwaukee, and the Bruins crumbled in Columbus.

This is gonna sound like a first-world sports problem, but it's bad enough Boston fans have to divide our attention when both these playoff teams are in action at the same time. When they both LOSE, that's incredibly aggravating.

In fact, it's the first time the C's and B's both lost postseason games on the same day since May 7, 2010.

That's 3,280 days.

If you want some pop culture perspective, Game of Thrones wasn't even a thing yet. The fantasy drama premiered on HBO a year later. No one even knew about the Iron Throne, let alone cared.

Or those 22 Marvel movies that led up to Avengers: Endgame—only the first two Iron Man movies and the widely-panned Incredible Hulk had been released. That's it.

If the Celts and Bruins go the distance in the conference semis, they'll go head-to-head two more times.
