BOSTON WBZ NewsRadio) — Celtics fans are getting ready for Game One of the NBA Finals which will begin Thursday night at TD Garden. WBZ NewsRadio was at the Garden to check it all out and see how fans were preparing for the first of several big games.
Celtics fans are showing off their pride by wearing their green, from their hats to their jackets.
Some Celtics fans have more confidence about how the finals will go. WBZ NewsRadio spoke to Patrick, who is expecting a 4-2 series.

“Game 1 and 2 we win, game 3 and 4 I’m not sure how we do, we probably tie it up so, if we win game 5, we [will] go back [to the Garden] for game 6 and win it there,” he predicted.
“I hope we stay injury free,” he also added.
While most of the fan base at Thursday’s tipoff will be rooting for the team in green, that won’t be everybody in attendance. WBZ NewsRadio also spoke to some Mavericks fans who made the trip from Texas but aren’t strangers to Boston.

“We used to live here, but I’m actually from Texas so I’ve lived here for three years and [my husband] lived here for a couple of years so yes, always a Dallas fan,” one of the fans said.
The Celtics are shooting their shot to score their 18th Championship in the team’s history, which would also set an NBA record.
