BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Charles Esplanade has been recently rated number 9 on USA Today’s top 10 riverwalks in the nation. The publication described the spectacular views of Boston and Cambridge from the Esplanade along with the amazing trails for walking too. Additionally, the esplanade features the iconic Hatch Shell, which is one of Boston’s most well-known venues for live entertainment in the summer, along with one of the best 4th of July fireworks shows in the U.S.!

In addition to 17 miles of running trails that weave through 64 acres, the riverwalk is also home to some beautiful magnolia trees and cherry blossoms this time of year, making the park a beautiful place to take a nice spring walk.

The top ranked riverwalk in the country belongs to the Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati, according to the USA Today report.
