BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A YouTube video posted on November 21 has gained traction, depicting a Massachusetts State Trooper sleeping in the driver seat of his cruiser while in uniform. The video, credited to be taken by a man named "Nick," captured his confrontation with the unidentified trooper.
Nick knocked on the passenger window of the trooper's vehicle, startling the man inside.
"Bro, I see you sleeping here every single morning," Nick said in the 23-second clip, "Okay? Goin' on Facebook Live. Every morning I drive by, you're sleeping. I can't even see you in the front seat."
The trooper responded to the allegations with silence as Nick appeared to back away from the cruiser.

"Last week we became aware of the video, which appears to show conduct that is clearly unsatisfactory, and we have opened an Internal Affairs investigation. The result of that investigation will determine if administrative action is warranted," said Director of Media Communications David Procopio.
The video had over 36,000 views on YouTube at the time of posting.
