SCITUATE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man has died after being pulled from the water in Scituate on Tuesday afternoon.
The Coast Guard was called at around 2:45 PM with a report that a man went into the water and did not come out. Local agencies also responded to try to find the missing man, including Scituate, Cohasset, Marshfield, and Duxbury Police and Fire departments as well as the Plymouth County Dive Team and many others.
The first responders pulled the person from the water at around 4:00 PM near the bridge at Edward Foster Road, and he was then transported to South Shore Hospital, the Coast Guard said.
