COHASSET, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Friends, neighbors and residents of Cohasset will gather for a vigil on Thursday afternoon for missing woman Ana Walshe. The vigil is set to begin at 4:30 PM on the Cohasset Town Common, hosted by the town's churches.
Walshe has been missing since New Year's Day, and the Norfolk County D.A. has called the case a "suspicious disappearance."
Walshe's husband, Brian Walshe, is facing charges of misleading the police in their investigation with bail set at $500,000. The WBZ-TV I-Team reported that investigators in the case searched a Peabody waste transfer station this week and unearthed a number of items, including bloody trash bags, a hacksaw, used cleaning supplies and a rug.
Prosecutors unveiled evidence including a bloody, broken knife from the basement of the Walshe home during Walshe's arraignment on Monday.
